The purpose of this framework is to analyze policies that have been been put in by asking fundamental questions about already existing policy. It is derived from several models of public policy analysis.
Policy can mean a number of things: from laws, to ordinances, this is a general guideline to ask important questions. For the sake of simplicity and constantly, the work policy will be used throughout this document. This will serve as a guideline to indicate a policies’ effectiveness. In order to do this, you will be provided a list of questions to consider when analyzing a policy. Not every question must be answered, and there will likely be more questions that need to be answered. Many policies may fall under more than one of these categories listed. This is a living document, and things can be added as you see fit. This is a good starting point to determine what policies are already implemented and what changes they have made or are making.
