Anguilla National Trust

The Anguilla National Trust was created in 1989 to educate the next generation on environmental issues and management. The organization has a variety of environmental education opportunities for all ages ranging from camps, youth groups, and environmental programs. Anguilla National Trust has played a key role in the creation and maintenance of national parks and conservation areas. They have a variety of projects in terrestrial/wetlands conservation and marine/coastal conservation.

The Anguilla Initiative

The Anguilla Initiative was started by four former visitors to Anguilla who fell in love with the small country, and decided to found an initiative from the United States. Through their different projects, the organization seeks to preserve the natural and cultural well-being of the country, as well as provide health and social assistance to citizens of Anguilla. Two of their main funds also focus on providing hurricane relief and building educational facilities.

The Environmental Awareness Group of Anguilla & Barbuda

The Environmental Awareness Group of Anguilla & Barbuda was formed in 1989 to empower and inform society on the sustainable use and management of natural resources. They inform their community through a variety of projects including sea turtle conservation, offshore island conservation, campaigns, petitions, and more. Their programs have helped educate more than 6,000 youth on their countries environmental issues and solutions. Their North East Marine Management Area (NEMMA) is part of a regional program aiming to increase management capacity of existing management areas and the creation of new ones.
