Central African Republic

Rainforest Foundation UK (RFUK) has been working to protect the five million hectares of rainforest in the Central African Republic since 2009. RFUK is a non-governmental organization that works to protect the rainforest through empowering indigenous peoples to defend their ancestral lands. Globally, they campaign in communities to tackle deforestation, gain land rights, challenge logging companies, manage their forests, and protect their environment.
