South Sudan Nature Conservation Organization
South Sudan Nature Conservation Organization (SSNCO) is an educational nonprofit that aims to protect the dignity of the environment by disseminating conservation ideas among the public. SSNCO encourages climate security and adaptation by calling on institutions, policy makers, and private sectors to unite to save our planet and manage resources sustainably. The organization focuses on sustainable energy, carbon, and urban resilience in addition to environmental governance, education, and environmental justice. SSNCO has worked on their social ecological resilience partnership program as well as their climate resilience partnership program which increases the adaptive capacity of vulnerable communities in South Sudan. SSNCO has also attended the Horn of Africa Climate Change program workshop to showcase success stories, lessons learned, challenges, and the way forward in the landscape across regions of Africa including South Sudan.

The Green Belt Initiative
The Green Belt Initiative (GBI) is a national NGO of South Sudan that was founded in 2016 to improve the socio-economic well-being of all people in the country. Their mission is to be a national leader in developing environmental protection action, and to fight climate change while still improving economic growth. Their areas of action include human health, biodiversity, and terrestrial ecosystems. Some of their projects include building water infrastructure, assisting farmers with sustainable crop development, hosting workshops and providing education on nutrition, humanitarian work, flood safety, and plastic waste.

Hope Ofiriha
Hope Ofiriha is a non-governmental organization based in South Sudan. It operates as a result of a partnership between organizations and volunteers from Africa, North America, Europe, and Australia. Hope Ofiriha is primarily a humanitarian NGO that works in many areas including the environment, education, agriculture, child sponsorship, and economics. They have many projects such as clean drinking water initiatives, clean energy cookstove projects (to improve health and air quality to mitigate climate change), and reforestation projects.
