Environmental Protection in the Caribbean (EPIC) is an independent non-profit striving to protect the Caribbean environment through research, restoration, education and advocacy. EPIC’s work helps ensure a more resilient and sustainable future for everyone through holistic programs that build a community of environmental stewards in the Caribbean. The organization has helped identify restoration sites, provide Haiti relief, protect seabirds, and address conservation issues. EPIC recognizes the connections between ecological health, economic vitality, and the quality of life for Caribbean residents.

Nature Foundation St. Maarten is a on-governmental, non-profit organization making strides to help preserve the local environment on St. Maarten. The organization is part of the Dutch Caribbean Nature Alliance (DCNA) and they are achieving their preservation goals through proper management, education, public awareness, and scientific research and monitoring.
