Our planet.

Our colleges.

Our voices.

Our mission is to empower students to sustainably better the world around them, starting on their very own college campuses, and evolve into the next generation of environmental leaders.

We do this by providing students the education, resources, trainings, and opportunities to be a part of the change-making process at colleges, where students are uniquely situated to make change. Together, we work to systematically implement sustainable initiatives in every aspect of university administration, including curriculum, dining, energy, student life, and long-term planning.

We value representation, collaboration, creativity, equity, and individual leadership.

Everyone is welcome and valued in our movement: students, university staff, industry professionals, and other student groups.

Research, analysis, collaboration, outreach, and passion are at the forefront of our work.

Our team utilizes two unique models as we seek to push universities towards change and bring key stakeholders together.

TCA: Transparency, Commitment, Action

Universities must let the public hold them accountable for their sustainability efforts, or lack thereof, so that there can be continual bettering of even the best of existing protocols and initiatives.

Considering insight from students, academics, and climate professionals, universities must then make concrete commitments to do better. Examples are committing to reach net zero emissions by 2030 and creating a comprehensive Climate Plan with both short-term and long-term strategies and goals.

Long-term commitments achieve nothing if there is no real-time progress. The time is now.

other climate leaders. We all need to be working together and focused on driving real change, whether we’re part of Climate Reality, Sunrise Movement, University Climate Ambassadors, or a green team. Let’s challenge other leaders to think bigger and sooner for the planet.
a movement — not just a team, but a powerful wave, capable of disrupting organizations if they continue to drag their feet.
